ThotChat vs FunFun AI: Rebuilding an Original Persona

Rebuild an original fictional companion with FunFun's observable setup and your own notes, while separating appearance, narrative continuity and account migration.

Save the idea you can explain in your own words

A companion can be meaningful because of a voice, a recurring situation or the way a scene developed. None of those things is identical to an account setting.

The current ThotChat alternatives page describes the old service as closed. We do not independently certify its historical account or feature claims. The practical question here is what a reader can reconstruct from authorized original notes.

The FunFun character creator visibly presents a staged flow whose first page includes a name and appearance settings. This establishes a current setup surface. It does not establish an importer for ThotChat history or a shared memory system.

Map the old idea to the fields you can actually see

Consider Inez, an original fictional 36-year-old stage carpenter. She is preparing a touring production that must fit into a small van. The reader and character had not yet decided whether to reduce the backdrop or simplify the lighting rig.

The publicly readable first stage provides this concrete mapping:

Part of Inez’s design Observable FunFun control Result
Inez Name Re-enter the name as a new character
Age 36 Age band: 30s A broad visual age setting, not an exact biography
Short straight brown hair Hair Style and Hair Color Two separate appearance choices
Brown eyes Eyes Color A visual attribute
Broad work role Occupation selection in the published later stages Use a suitable available role; this does not encode the whole touring problem
Van constraint and unresolved design choice Not an appearance setting or an established history import Supply these as context in the next conversation

Ethnicity is also an explicit first-stage choice. The published staged form defines later selectors for personality, occupation, up to three hobbies and clothing. These can rebuild broad character traits; they do not reconstruct a particular unresolved event. No ThotChat history importer or memory-transfer route was established. We inspected the served form without submitting a character.

Selecting the right hair and age band does not reconstruct the touring production or the reader’s relationship with Inez. Keep appearance settings and the current scene separate so that a cosmetic revision cannot silently replace a story fact.

Restart the unresolved task in a new message

After reaching a chat, the reader can state the necessary context directly:

Inez is an original fictional 36-year-old stage carpenter. We are planning a touring set for a small van. The unresolved choice is whether to shrink the backdrop or simplify the lighting rig. Begin by comparing those two options; the decision has not been made.

This is a proposed new message, not a claim that FunFun has imported, stored or learned anything from another service. It gives the new conversation an answerable task immediately. If the reply assumes a decision has already been made, correct that one fact rather than pasting a longer transcript.

Keep the note outside the account too: name, current constraint and unresolved choice are enough to reopen this particular task. An old subscription, saved image collection and server-held conversation history remain separate matters.

Check the new commitment before rebuilding at length

FunFun’s web terms §9 describe a payment page after five messages and paid messaging with 100 monthly tokens for extended features. Section 10 places cancellation in My Profile → Settings → Unsubscribe and says unused tokens expire when the billing period ends after cancellation. These published rules describe a fresh FunFun account; they are not transferable ThotChat entitlements. Confirm the actual offer before paying, since the terms are dated 2024.

Check the rights of the material you carry

FunFun’s web terms describe personal use, fictional companions and a license over submitted input. Access to an old character does not prove permission to copy its artwork, another creator’s private definition or a protected fictional identity.

An original brief is useful precisely because it is understandable and maintainable. If you cannot explain which parts you authored or are allowed to reuse, reconstruct the broad idea with a new original adult character rather than reproducing someone else’s expression.

The useful result is specific: recreate the available visual settings, supply the unresolved task in a new message, and retain your own short continuity note. That is a new version of your original character, rather than account recovery.
